Cyber Bullying
Cyber-bullying is a major type of bullying that is used today. Probably the most popular. Cyber-bullying can happen at any time of the day, text messages, face-book, twitter, etc. Bullying at this day and age can happen at anytime in school and after school because of cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is causing kids to have many issues at home, in these times of struggle kids want to go home and relax and forget about their bad days at school but having to come home with disturbing unfriendly messages in their phones and emails and computers is unfair and cruel. Cyber-bullying is causing alot of young kids to commit suicide, bullying in general. Families are loosing a lot of their young ones. Little kids should be given the opportunity to achieve well in life, living a long one at that. Bullies are depriving kids of their life and their happiness. Cyber bullying needs to stop so kids can begin to live their live without fear and sadness.

Bullying
Bullying can have a major effect on a persons life. Especially as a young child, when your supposed to be having fun and not having to worry about problems. Being bullied can change a child's outlook on life and the way they live their life. Bullying can cause insecurities and insecurities are things people will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Picking on a person, and judging them for who they are is insensitive and selfish. No one has the right to judge a person because no one is perfect and everyone has their own issues/insecurities. Bullying today has gotten so bad its gotten to the point where young children are committing suicide.

Intended Consequences blog #5
In Rwanda, in 1994, Hutu militia committed a bloody genocide, murdering one million Tutsis. Many of the Tutsi women were spared, only to be held captive and repeatedly raped. Many became pregnant. Intended Consequences tells their stories. See the project at http://mediastorm.com/publication/intended-consequences
In 1994 more than 800,00 people were murdered in the Eastern African nation of Rwanda. it started the day after their president was killed in an airplane crash. For a 100 days the militia group were targeting all Tutsis. In the first week more than 60,000 of them were killed. They wanted all of them to perish. They wanted all of them dead, and they didn't care how or where they did it, or what they did to them. They would rape the women and kill them or leave them to die. They would beat them and in most cases they would impregnate them and give them the diseases they were carrying. After 100 days the killing stopped and over 1 million people were killed.

Style Wars
Style wars a movie created in 1983. It was filmed in the Bronx. During the time of the making of the film a lot of the Bronx was being burned down and destroyed because the poverty level was extremely high. People would burn down their houses for money from insurance, and before burning their houses they would sell whatever they could that people would want to buy. Also during that time they were blowing up a lot of the Bronx as well to make the Cross Bronx Expressway. This movie basically was showing that a lot of society thought that graffiti was vandalism and to most that did graffiti on public property was just "tags". But to a lot of people who do graffiti its a passion and its something they love to do that has a lot of meaning for them. It also showed us how these kids and adults got their names around everywhere putting their names on train stations so that everyone could see. It also showed us how their dance influenced graffiti and how dance was part of their everyday lives.

My Multimedia Film Topic
Adoption is a major problem around the world. So many children are put up for adoption everyday. The rate of adoption and abortion have grown over the years, because people are constantly having babies. The birth rate has increased as well. With these rates excelling, so many kids are either put into an orphanage adopted or aborted.
My group would like to focus on the topic adoption. I feel like adoption is a huge problem that isnt put out there enough. So many people face losing their parents or feeling unloved because their parents didnt want them. Their left with these thoughts that their not good enough. I really wanted t base our film on this topic because i feel it would be going into a direction not many people are willing to go. I think its a very emotional topic and i think this can be a real eye catcher.
I guess I'm hoping for our viewers to be more mindful about protected sex, or sex in general. I want teenagers to really think before they act, most aren't ready to raise a child, I think no child should raise a child! So many girls i know that were my age have either gotten multiple abortions or they've already had a kid, and its hard for me to see this because I don't think girls my age wake up every morning thinking this is how they wanted their life to be like, so young and already with a child. Your so restricted, and your not really able to maintain an education and care for a child.

My Media
On a daily basis, I constantly interact with the internet. Facebook, and Instagram mostly. Watching tv is something thats always in my schedule. I also play video games daily. Reading magazines is something that I do rarely, only when my sister buys one then I'll read through them. Definitely if Im bored ill go on my xbox and watch some Netflix so thats another way i use the internet.
I would say daily I visit Instagram and Facebook more than 15 times. Usually out of boredom. I dont find these websites entertaining but when I have nothing else to do its what I turn to. I can be on my xbox from 1 hour to almost a whole day. It depends on the day and if Im in the mood. Usually laziness is what makes me stay locked up in my room all day playing video games.
Youtube and music are definitely a major part in my life. I love music, I love to sing and write poetry. Not necessarily music, but poetry is definitely creative writing, and it comes from the heart just like most of the songs out there.

Undesired
This video explores the life of Indian women and what their life's are like being seen as unimportant beings, and only needed to reproduce. They are somewhat seen as machines, making babies is their job in life. Having a son is seen as a great accomplishment, but having a girl is almost seen as a sin, hearing that "Its a girl"is probably the worst thing a family could hear. This issue has become very important because thousands of babies are being aborted, abandoned, and beaten everyday based on their sex.
Indian women are pressured into having children, more exact sons. If they do not have a son they are considered useless, worthless. Men dont want to have daughters because then they will have to pay what you call the dowry. The dowry is money sent from the bride to the grooms family as a gift. About 7,000 girls are aborted everyday in India. Usually if they are born they are abandoned, or if kept are mistreated. Women are also considered a burden, they are not allowed to go to school, or have any job training. Women will never be able to earn their own income. A lot of peoples opinions are that if women are taught the same way males are, paying the dowry would be easier because the women would be getting paid as much as her brother. In some cases of marriage if the grooms family does not receive enough dowry they will burn the bride so their son can remarry and get more money.
I think this video is important because its uncovering and showing people like me who don't know much about other countries and cultures learn their way of life. I think this films uncovered silence would be how bad the violence and hate towards women are in India. I think that how they treat women is wrong. If us, as women, are the ones bringing men into this world, why are we being so mistreated and not given a chance to succeed and live a long happy life? After watching this video, I think that changing how people treat women is a step to living a better life in India.
